Xiaobo Pu (Adrien) is a classical guitarist educated and trained in the United States, with a performance experiences across Asia and the Americas, including Carnegie Hall in the National Centre for the Performing Arts in China, Beijing Concert Hall, and Shenzhen Concert Hall. Currently, he teaches at UIC (Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University Zhuhai Campus).

In 2008, Pu enrolled in the Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Middle School, studying under Professor Li Jiajiong. During his studies, he received numerous merit scholarships. In 2014, Pu received acceptance letters and full scholarships from seven prestigious foreign music institutions, including the Curtis Institute of Music and the Berklee College of Music. He also obtained a guaranteed spot in the Classical Guitar program at the Central Conservatory of Music, a position that had been vacant for four years.

Ultimately, Pu chose to pursue his studies with a full scholarship at the Curtis Institute of Music, becoming the first Chinese guitarist admitted to the institute. There, he studied for his Bachelor's degree under the guidance of renowned classical guitarists and Grammy Award winners David Starobin and Jason Vieaux.

In 2018, Pu received admission offers and full scholarships from the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, and Yale University for his Master's degree. He has since graduated from Yale University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Manhattan School of Music.

From 2018 to 2020, Pu served as a guitar instructor for elective courses at Yale University, becoming the first Chinese guitarist to hold a teaching position at the university since its establishment.

He has performed solo and chamber music concerts in various cities in China and the United States, collaborating with orchestras such as the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, China Philharmonic Orchestra, Beijing Youth Wind Orchestra, and the Yale University Camerata choir.

Pu is also an active chamber musician, frequently collaborating with instruments such as the accordion, violin, flute, and cello.

In addition to his dedication to music, Pu has also been active on television and online stages, appearing as a guest on Jiangsu TV's "One Stop to the End" and the self-produced variety show "Under the Same Roof" on Youku.
